Santorini is a strategy game themed around ancient Greece. It's simple enough for an elementary school classroom and also provides depth and intricacies of gameplay and strategy that hardcore gamers will love. Each turn consists of 2 deceptively simple steps: move a builder, then build a tower. Reach the third level of a tower, and you win!
The game can be made even more interesting by harnessing the powers of Gods and heroes chosen at the start of the game. This 2nd Edition reprint of the original game contains upgraded building and hero figurines, and has rebalanced the abilities of the God cards to be even more fair and fun.
