A simple game that will bring competitive excitement to your next card games event. What can be simpler than matchings a symbol and answering a question? Playing Anomia is a quick game that keeps you on your toes, watching for the next matching symbol and readying your answer to every question. In a normal situation you can answer the cards but when the symbol turns and its your chance and the pressure is on, can you get the answer out?
To play Anomia, shuffle the cards well and place them in the centre if the table. Each player then in turn draws a card and turns it up quickly in front of them so that everyone views the card at the same time. Does the symbol on the card match another symbol on someone else's card? If YES, you must quickly answer the question on their card (not yours) by giving an example of the person, place or thing. The other player is doing the same and who will be first? The first to answer the question gets to take the card and put it in their points pile. When taking th card it reveals the card underneath and immediately the game continues with everyone scanning to see which symbols match and which pair are competing for the point. There are also Wild Cards that no single player holds and are turned up in the middle, The same matching rule applies and points can be earned
