This game of Snakes & Ladders is based on the game of Moksha Patam/Pat originally created by a Marathi Saint and Philosopher Sant Dnyaneshwar/Jnaneshwar in the 13th century  in India.

This set contains six wodden playing pieces, on wooden die and a colourfil gameboard measuring 30x30cm.
